World AIDS Day

AIDS Awareness Week and World AIDS Day
The AIDS Awareness Week begins November 24th and leads to World AIDS Day which is December 1st. During that week community and corporate partners are encouraged to hold Dress Down/Casual Days with proceeds going to AIDS New Brunswick. We encourage all New Brunswickers – at home, at school, at your workplace – to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS.

We invite the community to participate in several ways:

By designating proceeds from Dress Down/ Casual Days at your school or workplace during AIDS Awareness Week (or any other week during the year!) – We will provide information about our organization, promotional posters, red ribbons and stickers for each participant. Charitable receipts for tax purposes can be issued on request.

By wearing and distributing Red Ribbons of Hope and placing an AIDS Awareness “coin box” at your place of work – We will provide red ribbons and coin boxes upon request.

By ensuring your students/staff have access to recent information about HIV/AIDS – We will provide various relevant fact sheets and pamphlets upon request. Call our Information Line at 1-800-561-4009 – all requests for materials are confidential.
