Peer Support

PEER SUPPORT

Peer support fosters a community where individuals with similar experiences can provide and receive emotional, informational, and practical assistance. With shared experiences, empathy, and a non-judgemental approach, peers receive mutual support, enhancing their well-being, knowledge, and resilience.

Peers

Peers offer each other empathy, guidance, and ideas based on their own experiences. They foster a supportive environment where everyone feels valued and understood. Peer support can be formal or informal. Certain types of peer support require certification, while others rely solely on lived-experiences.
